How YOU Can Help!

CouponsToTroops makes it easy for you to help. Just gather up your expired (and your unwanted current) coupons, contact us to Adopt a Family and send your coupons off to the address that they will provide to you.

How often and how many coupons you mail is completely up to you. Some of our sending families mail off a small envelope full every week, costing them only 1) first class postage stamp. Other families have access to more coupons and only mail once or twice a month.

The United States Postal Service makes it easy for you to help too. Since you’d be mailing to a APO/FPO military address or to a family stationed on Guam or Puerto Rico  (both territories of the US) there’s no international postage rates involved. They offer several sizes of Flat-Rate Priority Mail flat mailers and boxes and their slogan for those is ‘if it fits, it ships’ all for one low flat-rate price. Prices range from $4.95 to $14.95. You can see the different sizes available here ( When calculating for a APO/FPO address, ALWAYS be sure to choose United States Domestic Mail.

If your budget doesn’t have any room for you to cover the costs of postage, we recommend looking within your own community to see if there’s a group or organization that is sending coupons overseas that will accept your coupons. Veterans organizations, (such as American Legions, VFWs, and Marine Corps Leagues), and service organizations (such as Kiwanis, Rotary Clubs, Moose Lodges, Elks, and Eagles) often have coupon projects where you can physically drop your coupons off to them to be included in their shipments, incurring no postage costs for you. There are also several Scouting groups, libraries, church groups and Senior Centers who collect coupons to mail overseas. Even if you reach out to the groups in your area and are unsuccessful in finding anyone who is currently collecting coupons, you may just inspire one of them to start a project of their own. (Please feel free to pass our information onto them – we’d love to answer any questions they may have and help  them get a project started!)
